At the base of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on The Boston Common is a memorial to the 37,000 residents of Massachusetts who gave their lives in all of the wars from the Revolutionary War to present day. This annual memorial is sponsored by the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund. If you find yourself in Boston do stop by and pay your respects.
