I would like to draw your attention to something going on here. It would appear the all Town employees in the Town of Dudley, Massachusetts received lay off notices this week. ALL town employees to include the guys that I work with on the Fire Department. I hope people get outraged enough to write to the Town Manager and Selectmen and call them on this. It is not fair to the employees and it is not fair to the town residents. These selfless servants have given years of service to the town and they deserve better than this. The deserve to be treated better than this for all of the years of service.

dudley always go to the extremes.like when they shut off their street lights for months,it cost them more money to shut them off and turn them on then it would have been to leave them alone.I don’t know what kind of peo0le run that town.linda
That is an example of real problems–unrealistic solutions. Taxpayers in that town need to rise up, and raise specific questions, concerning priorities.
This made the Boston News this morning. The residents have every right to speak up and be upset!
They need to speak up about this…
We need to pull together for Southbridge and speak up for our town too…we can not afford to lose any of fire or police personnel, we are running thin as it is!
