Today was a great day here in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The weather could not be better and the view is absolutely beautiful. The sounds of bag pipes and drums fill the air. Today was the official opening of the festival and more than 60 clans and societies marched on the field. The day was filled with greeting old friends and new and general merriment. I will try and post some pictures when I return.
